Export of Results and Split Times
On the page Competition, Export data, Result & Splits, you can export a file with result and split times suitable for upload to WinSplits Online or as results to a result service supporting orienteering results. The file is exported to IOF-XML format version 2.0.3 or 3.0.Depending on the type of competition you have, some of the following options may be available.
- If the competition contains multiple legs, you can choose whether to save individual results per leg, total results, or a separate results file per leg.
- If the same runner does multiple races (in multiple stages or within a stage), you can choose whether the file should Include information about multiple races for a single runner. Eventor currently does not support multiple races for one participant within a stage (e.g. two-man relays) and then you must uncheck this option.
- If the courses contain loops, you can choose whether MeOS should export the lap times as if all runners took the legs in the same order, Unroll splits times for loop courses (which is good for lap time analysis / comparison) or in the order each participant actually ran (which is good for linking to GPS tracks).
You can choose to export only complete results or Include preliminary results and radio times. - Include MeOS internal id includes the participant id that MeOS uses internally. There is guaranteed to be unique for each participant in a particular competition but cannot be used to identify participants in a national register of competitors and similar databases.
Note
IOF XML format, version 2.0.3 does not support patrols. MeOS will create a file specially crafted file abusing the standard slightly; the name of the second patrol member is written in the field for club name.
